Speaking about EVOTION, we look forward to contribute to future Noise Awareness Days, where we will report on how environment data logged from hearing aids will be used by the hearing aid users, audiologists, and public health policy experts.
The EVOTION hearing aids and a smartphone will log the continuous sound pressure level at the microphone of connected hearing aids. The figure below is an example of such data, showing the sound pressure levels experienced by the project coordinator a late afternoon during an reception, driving a car, running in the woods, and finally driving a car again.
