Hearing impairment as a significant public health problem

EVOTION Parnter Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine (NIOM) organized a symposium during the IX Conference of the Polish Society of Audiology and Phoniatrics on 2 March 2017 in Łódź, Poland (www.laryngologia-lodz2017.pl).

The main goal of this Symposium was to present EVOTION platform to clinical scientists, audiologists and public health policy bodies. Lectures were given by Niels Pontoppidan (OTC) – project coordinator and partners from NIOM and IPH. The Symposium was summarised in a round table discussion about the Adaptation of EVOTION platform as a public health policymaking tool. Over 100 participants attended the Symposium.
